Post-Moratorium Rental Housing Benefits Assistance
Senior Citizens’ Law Office, (SCLO) is now accepting Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) Applications, for financial assistance to cover unpaid, past, current and in some cases, a limited amount of future rent, or utility bills. SCLO Applicants must be City of Albuquerque residents, age 60 and over, who are currently obligated to pay rent, able to show a financial impact due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, that has caused or aggravated their inability to make regular and complete monthly rental or utility payments since March 30, 2020. If you or someone in your household, is able to demonstrate that you have gotten behind on your rent or utility payments, due to reasons that were triggered by circumstances that are related either directly or indirectly to Covid 19, you may qualify for financial assistance to avoid eviction.
