SCLO can only accept intakes when the prospective client, or a person with legal authority for that prospective client, requests help from SCLO.

A person requesting help from SCLO does not become a client until SCLO informs the individual that SCLO has accepting their intake. 

Unfortunately, the need for SCLO’s services outweighs its limited resources and for this reason, SCLO cannot accept every intake.
