NM offers pandemic aid to homeowners
New Mexico has launched a pilot program that will provide grants of up to $10,000 to help homeowners facing financial hardship because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The aid is designed to cover past-due and current mortgage payments for New Mexicans who meet income requirements and have financial hardship associated with the pandemic. To qualify, a household income cannot exceed 100% of the area median income.
