“Understanding the Benefits of Medicare and Medicaid”

Did you see the recent ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL op-ed complaining about the state’s “Centennial Care” secrecy?  Have you wondered about the difference between Medicare and Medicaid?  Does Centennial Care affect Medicare?  Medicaid?  Both?

Answers to these questions, and others you may have, will be the subject of a June 4 presentation at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kiwanis Club by representatives of the Mandy Pino Center and the Senior Citizens’ Law Office, both Albuquerque-based nonprofit organizations.  The Pino Center engages in community education and advocacy on Medicare, Medicaid and other benefit programs.  The Senior Citizens’ Law office, established nearly 30 years ago, provides legal advice, assistance, and education to residents of the Greater Albuquerque area on subjects ranging from Medicare and Medicaid, to Life Planning, to Consumer Rights including protection against identity theft and fraud.”
