Will your Medicaid coverage continue after the end of the Public Health Emergency?

Even if you are no longer qualified for Medicaid during the national Public Health Emergency (PHE) related to COVID-19, the state did not terminate your coverage. The PHE is due to end on May 11, 2023, and you may receive notice that your Medicaid coverage will be ending.  Contact the Senior Citizens’ Law Office at 505-265-2300 and speak to a lawyer about how to continue Medicaid under another category of coverage or enroll in other healthcare coverage.

Do you have medical debt?

If your household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty line, the Patients’ Debt Collection Protection Act provides valuable protections against medical creditors and medical debt collectors.  Contact the Senior Citizens’ Law Office at 505-265-2300 and speak to a lawyer about how to resolve your medical debt.
